Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality precision components while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. Load and unload materials safely, read engineering drawings, monitor machine performance, and perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment. Deburr finished components, maintain accurate documentation, and conduct routine machine maintenance in a clean, organized environment. Work collaboratively to meet production schedules and customer expectations. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs and work in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working around varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and other manufacturing conditions
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other protective equipment as required
Desired Qualifications
- 2-5 years of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Experience operating CNC mills
- Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain-controlled CNC machines is considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong understanding of machining practices and quality requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
