CNC Machinist

Job Summary
Set up, operate CNC Mills and Turning Centers to manufacture precision components; interpret engineering drawings/blueprints; apply GD&T and dimensional tolerances; perform tooling offsets and fixtures alignment; train other C.N.C set up operators; ensure safe, clean, and efficient shop practices; monitor quality and report improvements; familiarity with Mazak, Okuma, and Haas controls; use micrometers, vernier calipers, and CMMs for conformance checks; participate in continuous improvement and adhere to shop math and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school education plus 2 years technical training
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC milling or turning operations
- Familiarity with G-code programming and CNC machine controls
- Red Seal or equal experience
- Proficient reading of blueprints and tolerances
