CNC Machinist

Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, saws, and metal additive machines, to produce precision metal components. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings while programming tooling, offsets, and work holding to meet specifications. Load raw materials, monitor machine operations, and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools. Perform preventative maintenance, document production data, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues. Maintain a clean work area and ensure optimal productivity through equipment monitoring. Requires 4+ years of experience and proficiency in reading GD&T symbols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T symbols
- Proficient with measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
