CNC Machinist

Setup and operate Mazak CNC Mills and Lathes, downloading and editing programs to select optimal speeds, feeds, and tooling. Interpret blueprints to transform design specifications onto workpieces while performing setups involving blocking, aligning, and securing pieces with jigs and fixtures. Use hand, bench, and light machinery for deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing, then maintain dimensional accuracy with calipers, micrometers, and squares. Perform routine maintenance on Haas equipment, manage coolant levels, clear chips, and keep workspaces organized. Document labor reports, material issues, kit lists, and scrap releases while adhering to production schedules and tracking part releases.
