Job Summary
Rough Turn Operator (CNC Machinist) needed to operate a CNC lathe to machine forged rolls in Lima, OH. Responsibilities include setting up and operating lathe with Allen Bradley controller, inspecting forgings/rolls to specification, machining to tolerances, completing machining production worksheets, and performing related department duties. Requires High School Diploma/GED, ability to read blueprints, strong math, detail-oriented, and ability to lift 60-80 lbs; criminal background and drug screen required. Training on 1st shift with transition to 2nd shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous CNC machining experience or technical training in machining or machining related skills preferred, but not required
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to interpret and utilize blueprints and sketches
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
