Job Summary
CNC Machinist Programmer I will work with both the software and hardware aspects of CNC machines, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality output. Responsibilities include conducting product tests and inspections, creating production setups, and making necessary corrections to CNC programs. You will also generate entry-level CNC programs and perform simple rework using a manual milling machine when required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years work experience as CNC programmer or CNC Machinist
- Technical Trade school
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Knowledge of G-code
- Mastercam preferable
- College degree is not required but preferable
- Highly detail oriented
- Compliance with safety and environmental polices
