Job Summary
As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will interpret specifications and manufacturing drawings to create CNC machining programs using CAM software. Operating and monitoring CNC machines to produce parts that meet customer requirements is key to this role. Responsibilities include determining necessary fixtures for completion, translating drawings into CNC programs, overseeing the cutting process for accuracy, and performing maintenance tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in CNC machining
Desired Qualifications
- Strong skills in CAM software
- Familiarity with programming and interpreting CNC software
- Familiarity with industrial environments and safety practices
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with G-Code and MasterCAM
