Job Summary

Act as a senior technical resource in advanced CNC machining operations, taking ownership of complex machining projects and troubleshooting manufacturing challenges. Independently set up, program, and operate advanced CNC equipment, lead complex machining work, and mentor junior machinists. Requires expert knowledge of CNC machining principles, proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Autodesk Fusion 360 or Siemens NX, and strong troubleshooting skills. A minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience and an Associate’s degree in a relevant field are required.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or diploma in Precision Machining Technology
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive CNC machining experience
  • Proven ability to independently deliver complex machining projects
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in ITAR-regulated and/or ISO-certified manufacturing environments
  • Experience with advanced CNC equipment, including multi-axis milling machines, dual-spindle lathes, mill/turn centers, and Wire EDM

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must meet applicable federal requirements, including U.S. person status where required
  • Valid driver’s license required, with willingness to travel throughout Virginia and occasional out-of-state travel
