Job Summary
CNC Machinist needed to operate and set up CNC machining centres on high-precision components for regulated industries (aerospace). Responsibilities include setting/operating CNC machines, producing components to tight tolerances, interpreting engineering drawings, performing in-process inspection (manual and/or CMM), supporting tooling/fixturing improvements, completing quality documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes a strong background in precision engineering, reading engineering drawings, and using inspection equipment, with advantageous exposure to 5-axis machining. Based in Tewkesbury on a double day shift with a competitive salary and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Experience within precision engineering environments
- Exposure to 5-axis machining (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Experience using inspection equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
