Job Summary
Operate Haas lathes to turn and rotate metal, adjusting settings and verifying finished work piece dimensions against specifications. Prepare materials by cutting, shaping, or drilling them, while monitoring feed and speed during the machining process. Perform routing maintenance tasks and troubleshoot manufacturing issues on the shop floor. Revise CNC programs and adapt to changes in the work environment to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks. Review written documents such as work instructions and job aids to ensure conformance to specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of previous manufacturing experience
- Strong math skills
- Able to read calipers
- Able to setup Haas lathe
- Willing to help run other machines as needed
- Good interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a driving record check
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug and alcohol screen
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screens
