Job Summary
Operate CNC machining centers to process a variety of plastics, continuously checking for tolerance consistency and ensuring parts pass quality checks. Read blueprints and sketches to determine dimensions, safely operate Haas and Mazak/Fanuc controls, and perform machine maintenance when required. Maintain a clean, orderly work area while multi-tasking to manage time efficiently and follow detailed instructions. Work independently in a team environment to ensure client quality, with a focus on precision plastic machining and custom fabrication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years operating CNC or similar production machines
- Intermediate math skills (fraction/ decimal calculations)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece to ensure parts will pass a quality check
- Be able to safely operate CNC machines and machining centers
- Take critical directions and follow detailed instructions
- Perform machine maintenance when required
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly
- Familiar with Multi-axis and live tooling machining centers
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Be Drug-Free
- Safety glasses or side shields for prescription glasses

Desired Qualifications
- A certificate or diploma in engineering or a relevant discipline
- Manual lathe/mill
- Operate and understand Haas and Mazak/Fanuc controls
