CNC Machinist - Night Shift

Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and conditional switches. Set up equipment by installing chucks, tools, attachments, and adjusting collets and bushings. Fabricate parts by loading materials, cycling machines, and detecting malfunctions such as worn cutting tools. Verify settings against specifications, perform inspection of machined products, and document results. Maintain work areas and equipment in clean, orderly conditions while following safety procedures. Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding runs, and complete paperwork for parts. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management. Assist in fabrication, lay-up, infiltration, furnace operations, and sand blasting tasks. Train on day shift (6:00am–4:00pm) before transitioning to night shift (4:30pm–2:30am). Requires 3–5 years of Mazatrol on 5-axis CNC lathe experience.
