Job Summary
Operate and set up CNC lathes and milling machines, read blueprints and work orders, program validate and edit CNC programs at the machine to optimize cycle time, surface finish, and tool life. Perform in-process inspections, verify tolerances with precision instruments, and adhere to ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems. Use tooling and machining strategies for high-precision turning operations; troubleshoot tooling and equipment; contribute to a team-based environment and continuous improvement efforts. Must have intermediate CAD/CAM knowledge, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong problem-solving skills.
