CNC Machinist (Multiple Shifts)

Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce parts to prints and customer specifications, read and interpret blueprints with tolerance calls, perform first-piece verification and in-process inspections, and make routine CNC adjustments (tool offsets, wear offsets, and minor program edits). Ensure parts are machined to close tolerances (up to ±0.0002 in. where required) and document measurements using precision tools; contribute to fixture/jig/tooling improvements and maintain a safe, clean work area following PPE/safety policies. Knowledge of GD&T is preferred, with experience reading prints, selecting tooling and work-holding, and performing routine quality checks. This role requires independent work and clear English communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience setting up and operating both CNC mills and CNC lathes
- Ability to read and interpret prints and work instructions
- Proficiency with precision inspection tools
- Understanding of speeds/feeds, tooling selection, and work holding
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and communicating clearly in English
