Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision components to blueprint specifications. Read engineering drawings and GD&T, select tooling and fixtures, and perform first article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or offset adjustments as needed while maintaining quality standards and a safe, organized work area. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with first article inspections and tight-tolerance machining
- Proficient with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools
- Experience with Haas, Mori Seiki, Doosan, Brother, Fanuc, or similar CNC equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Mastercam or CAM programming experience is a plus
- Aerospace, precision manufacturing, or industrial machining experience preferred
