CNC Machinist

Job Summary
Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and multi-axis CNC equipment including Haas and Doosan machines. Read blueprints, interpret GD&T specifications, and program operations using Mastercam and Proto Trak controls. Select tooling and fixtures, manufacture precision components with tight tolerances, and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, perform routine maintenance, and maintain accurate production records. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve processes and production efficiency. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime and weekend work available as needed. Occasional travel to customer sites may occur.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of machining experience
- Strong background in both CNC and manual machining
- Experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, speeds, and metal properties
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Solid math and geometry skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Monday – Friday schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM schedule
- Overtime and weekend work availability
- Opportunity for occasional travel to customer sites
Desired Qualifications
