Job Summary
Operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers to produce high-precision aerospace components for aviation and defense programs. Perform setups, tool changes, and machine adjustments while reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings. Maintain tight tolerances of ±0.001" using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges on materials including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and Inconel. Document production and inspection results per AS9100 requirements and follow all safety, quality, and process control procedures. Support production flow and maintain a clean, organized work area. Pay ranges from $25–$50/hr based on experience, with entry-level to senior roles available. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required for ITAR compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers
- Ability to read aerospace blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Skilled with precision measurement tools
- Familiarity with tight‐tolerance machining
- Understanding of AS9100 or similar aerospace quality standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30–50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and quality focus
- Must be able to complete I‐9 employment verification
- Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
