Job Summary
Operate CNC equipment by interpreting blueprints, setting up tooling, and uploading programs based on detailed specifications. Perform precision machining operations while inspecting work with precision instruments and conducting preventive maintenance on all basic and specialized machine tools. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and programmers to ensure conformance to specifications and maximize effective manufacturing. Maintain knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques. Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring strong time management, planning, and documentation skills, including the ability to perform mathematical conversions.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 Years Experience as a CNC Machinist Preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically active work.
- Willingness to cross-train and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong planning and documentation skills, detail focused.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven production environment.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations including converting fractions to decimals
