CNC Machinist

Set up and operate CNC machines for production runs, ensuring proper tooling and computer programs are installed. Adjust feed, speed, and controls when automatic programming is faulty or machines malfunction, while monitoring the process and recalibrating as needed. Calculate cut parameters and use precision instruments to verify finished work pieces against specifications. Prioritize tasks according to the production schedule, maintain equipment cleanliness, and wear proper PPE. Manage waste responsibly and promote energy conservation. Requires one to three years of specific mill experience and shop mathematics skills.
