Job Summary
Skilled CNC Machinist on 1st shift responsible for set-up and operation of CNC machine centers or boring bars, reading blueprints and setup sheets, selecting tooling, calculating speeds and feeds, writing CNC milling programs from blueprints, and using inspection instruments to hold close tolerances. Proficient with GibbsCam or conversational at-machine programming; capable of using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and other inspection tools to ensure product conforms to standards of performance, quality, and safety. Must understand G&M codes and work with minimal supervision to produce parts that meet specifications.
