Job Summary
Level III CNC Machinist setting up, programming and running new jobs; operates several machines, maintains equipment, and may train others. Familiar with CAD/CAM and AS9100 competencies; adheres to quality procedures and records. Acts as liaison between customer/purchasing/engineering and outside groups; ensures quality, quantity and safety while keeping work area clean. Location is Phelps, NY (US) on a full-time A Shift (Mon-Thu 6a-4:30p); pay is $16-$27/hr. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass pre-employment screening; includes benefits and opportunities for training.
Required Qualifications
- Some CNC experience is required
- Familiar with quality procedures and drawings/blueprints
- Ability to train others (preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass pre-employment screening (drug screen, fit-for-duty exam, background check, employment verification and reference check)
- Knowledgeable and/or experienced in CAD/CAM
- AS9100 competencies as defined by QL-7200 Training Matrix
