Job Summary
Operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts, set up machines, and monitor production processes while reading work instructions. Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all quality and safety standards, communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, and apply safety requirements in daily work. Consistently produce quality parts while meeting production expectations and learn new equipment, processes, and procedures as needed. Work effectively as part of a team across different shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- Employees must be willing and able to work both day and afternoon shifts (swing shift) as part of our regular operations
- Required availability for day and afternoon shifts
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes
- Awareness of workplace safety practices
- Familiarity with quality standards and inspection concepts
Desired Qualifications
- Programming experience is helpful but not required for all roles
- CNC programming knowledge is a plus for machinist roles
