Job Summary
CNC Machinist serves as a Subject Matter Expert in metal alloy production, responsible for programming, machining, and packaging finished products. Responsible for following work instructions to complete shop orders on time while ensuring quality and accuracy. Responsibilities include programming, operating, and troubleshooting lathe, mill, saw, and laser engraver; supporting New Product Development initiatives; maintaining a safe, organized workspace; auditing inventory in ERP (IFS); refining SOPs aligned with ISO standards; and collaborating with a team to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Requires an associates degree or related experience, 2+ years CNC lathe programming/machining, strong math and measurement skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or related experience strongly preferred
- 2+ years CNC Lathe programming and machining experience required
- Proficient in math and measurements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with practical, hands-on approach
- Experience operating CNC Lathes and Mills; machining various alloys preferred (e.g., Nickel, Magnesium, Zinc, Cast Iron)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
