Job Summary
CNC Machinist (Lathe) role focusing on precision CNC machining, setup and operation of CNC lathes (Milling experience a plus), and reading blueprints to verify tolerances. Responsibilities include extensive manual machining, repair and prototype work, evaluating breakdown jobs, using micrometers and gauges, maintaining a safe, clean work area, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience (5+ years or two years vocational/technical schooling), and the ability to produce quality products within budget; Mazak experience is a bonus. Work hours are Monday–Thursday 6am–4:30pm and Friday 7am–Noon (40 hours/week with OT). Location: Fleetwood, PA. Compensation is salary-based and commensurate with experience; full benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience or two years vocational or technical school
- High proficiency with CNC machining equipment, with significant experience running a lathe
- Must be able to multi-task on machines and different projects
- Must be able to produce quality products within budget
- High attention to details and meeting deadlines
- Strong mechanical aptitude
