CNC Machinist - Lathe

Job Summary
Set up and run parts on a CNC Lathe while inspecting work and making adjustments to ensure quality. Adhere to safety regulations by following safety culture and wearing required PPE. Operate within AS9100/ISO9001 requirements, including proper documentation, revision control, and traceability. Follow operations sheets and instructions for product specifications while performing regular daily maintenance on equipment and the work area. Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and preset gages, and fill out production paperwork as required. Maintain tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner. Work the second shift from 4:30pm to 2:00am with a 25% shift differential. May travel between Southwick and Westfield facilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC Lathe Experience
- Experience in Aerospace industry
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Tech School preferred
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Time Management Skills
- Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
- Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses
- Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time
- May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities
- Second Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 2:00am
- 25% Shift Differential
