Set up and operate CNC milling machines, performing tool changes, offsets, and first-piece inspections. Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure quality and consistency, while troubleshooting machining and process issues. Make routine machine adjustments and minor program edits as needed, maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas. This role is ideal for someone with 3–4 years of CNC machining experience who can work independently and continue developing setup skills. The shop features modern equipment, a stable workload, and a small team environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years CNC machining experience preferred
- Experience with tooling, offsets, and first-piece inspections
- Blueprint reading and ability to hold tolerances; strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and continue developing setup skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with basic fixturing/workholding preferred
