Job Summary
Operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision parts with tight tolerances, executing setups, changeovers, and manual modifications while maintaining process stability. Perform in-process inspections using appropriate measuring tools, troubleshoot machining or quality issues, and escalate problems to the lead. Complete required preventive maintenance tasks and 5S organization protocols to ensure equipment readiness and a safe work environment. Document production data accurately and participate in shift handoffs to support traceability and schedule adherence. Contribute to Lean initiatives focused on waste reduction and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or machining certification
- CNC programming experience (Mazak Mazatrol strongly preferred)
