Job Summary
Program and run LB3000 Okuma and MB-66VB CNC machines independently, performing setups, changeovers, and tool path optimization. Troubleshoot machining deviations, tool breakage, and chatter while conducting in-process inspections and completing QC documentation. Maintain tooling sheets, fixture drawings, and setup instructions, and lead root cause analysis for defects. Mentor junior staff on programming and setups, and collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability. Participate in Kaizen/Lean projects to reduce cycle time and scrap, and cross-train in tool and die repair tasks. Requires intermediate CAD/CAM and G-code editing skills, strong GD&T interpretation, and SPC familiarity. Located at 4800 Lina Lane, Dublin, VA, with a pay range of $22-$30.
