Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components, reading blueprints and GD&T to ensure dimensional accuracy. Perform first article inspections, troubleshoot machining and programming issues, and recommend process improvements to maximize efficiency. Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and keep a clean work environment while documenting production data. Train, coach, and mentor junior machinists and setup personnel as part of the Skill Up program. Work collaboratively with engineers and quality teams to ensure smooth production flow. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of precision CNC machining and programming
- Strong experience with CNC mills and CNC lathes
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Experience machining tight tolerance precision components
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Diligence, problem-solving, manual dexterity, safety awareness, and teamwork with a servant leader mindset
- On-site work in Mesa, AZ
Desired Qualifications
- Technical or vocational machine education
- Experience with Fanuc, Mori Seiki, Haas, and/or Okuma controls
- Aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing experience
- Multi-axis machining experience (Mill/Turn, 4-Axis and 5-Axis)
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement experience
