CNC Machinist II- Swiss

Job Summary
Operate and set up CNC machines within specified tolerances, performing progressive machining of a variety of parts and different metals while maintaining close tolerances. Change tooling as needed for wear, conduct basic visual and dimensional inspections of materials and finished products, and ensure quality through operator-owned standards and routine checks. Perform routine maintenance per daily checklists and PM schedules, execute hand finishing, and maintain 5S housekeeping standards. Record all activities on job tracking systems, identify manufacturing issues for escalation, and support continuous improvement activities while adhering to GMP/GDP practices. Work the Swiss 2nd shift with shift differential pay, achieving set productivity targets.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3+ years CNC Machining experience
- Ability to operate, setting up and maintaining a CNC Machine
- Ability to run multiple CNC Machines
- Solid necessary math skills, including measuring and keeping count records
- Ability to follow work instructions
- Proven record of quality, on-time production runs
- Demonstrable commitment to safety at all times
- Attention to detail alongside ability to perform repeatable task over a prolonged period of time
- Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player
- Ability to identify problems and escalate as required
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Solid computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship
- Experience of working in a production environment
- GCSE/NVQ Math and English (UK only)
