Job Summary
CNC Machinist I role performing manufacturing of ceramic components using CNC equipment (lathes, mills, grinders) under supervision. Responsibilities include loading/unloading machines, running pre-programmed CNC jobs, making off-sets as instructed, inspecting finished parts with calipers/micrometers and other gauges, reporting malfunctions, logging production data and SPC forms, following shop routing, and assisting with general machine shop duties. 0–1 year CNC or machine operator experience preferred; classroom CNC exposure a plus. Focus on safety, quality, and collaboration with team members and leadership to maintain structured information flow. Prolonged shop-floor work with potential for varied tasks; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with equipment as described.
