Job Summary
Set up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures, and materials, then interpret engineering drawings to produce precision components according to specifications. Operate CNC machines while monitoring performance, making tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments as directed. Conduct routine quality inspections using precision measurement instruments to verify part dimensions and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues. Perform basic maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes, while following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area. Assist in documenting production records and collaborate with senior operators to enhance machining skills. Work M-F onsite, handling fast-paced production with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma
- 2-year technical certification or equivalent experience preferred
