CNC Machinist/Hybrid Davenport

Job Summary
Setup and operate complex CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines, including tooling, fixturing, offsets, and program adjustments. Interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications, inspect parts with advanced measurement tools, and make program edits to improve quality and cycle time. Troubleshoot machining issues like tool wear and dimensional deviations, fabricate basic fixtures, and perform preventive maintenance. Lead small teams, mentor junior operators, and collaborate on process improvements while maintaining accurate production records. Full or part-time hours available; 4+ years of CNC lathe experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- State Apprentice Program Certification in CNC
- 4+ years as setup and operator experience in CNC Lathe machining
- Ability to hold tight tolerances
- Ability to lift and/or lower up to 20 lbs
- Ability to lift/move and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Color vision
- Peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- State Apprentice Program Certification in CNC
- Experience with Tsugami machines
