Job Summary
Operate a CNC lathe to machine forged rolls in the Machining Department. Set up and operate the lathe and controller; inspect forged rolls and report deviations; machine to specification; perform preventative maintenance on the lathe; read and interpret blueprints; apply basic math and problem-solving skills; capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration. Eligible for benefits, Paid Time Off, 401K, and a Production Incentive Program with potential additional pay. Location: Pittsburgh, PA; on-site role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous CNC or machining experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
