Job Summary
Operate CNC lathe to machine forged steel rolls in the Machining Department. Set up and operate lathe and controller; inspect forging/roll and report deviations; machine to specification; perform preventative maintenance on the lathe. Read/interpret blueprints; apply good math skills and attention to detail. Must lift up to 60 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous CNC or machining experience
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery
- Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
- Good math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screen and physical
