Job Summary
CNC Machinist responsible for operating Mazak CNC machines, performing quality inspections, reading engineering drawings, and leading/mentoring entry machinists. The role includes machining setup changes, troubleshooting machine errors, developing fixtures, writing programs from scratch, and coordinating with the Machinist Tech lead to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. Must be a capable leader with strong teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Working conditions include plant/warehouse settings with potential overtime and shifts; ability to lift up to 75 lbs and tolerate extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to operate Mazak programming on precision parts
- Must read engineering drawings
- Must be able to run Mazak machines and troubleshoot issues
- Must be able to train and lead其他 machinists
- Must be able to stand for long durations
- Safety compliant and able to follow safety programs
