Job Summary
The CNC Machinist will program, set-up, and operate Mazak Mills or Lathes using Mazatrol programming and CAD/CAM software like Fusion 360 and Solid Works. Responsibilities include changing and adjusting tools, understanding software applications, making machine speed adjustments, supervising other programmers, and ensuring quality control by checking parts with measuring tools. Candidates must possess strong math skills, extensive knowledge in 2D prints and 3D models, and the ability to design fixtures, along with a commitment to safety in a production environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of CNC Programming experience
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Strong math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of G code and M code
- Ability to design and manufacture fixtures
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CAM and Mazaks
- Knowledge of shop geometry and trigonometry
