Job Summary
Responsible for set up and operate manual and CNC machines at a high level of proficiency, perform in-process inspection, read and interpret prints with tight tolerances, and select proper tools and gages. Demonstrates ability to thread all threads and materials, adjust processes to optimize cycle time, perform CNC editing on the shop floor, and train CNC 1 and CNC 2 Machinists. Experience with MORI SEIKI and MAZAK controls; position may involve lead responsibilities. Night shift in a non-climate-controlled Houston manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
- 5 years’ experience in metal removal on a variety of machines
- Must pass background and drug screen
- Steel toes required
