Job Summary
Operate multiple CNC machines efficiently and simultaneously while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Troubleshoot machining and setup issues independently, perform setups with offset adjustments, and interpret engineering drawings to execute G & M code programs. Complete First Article Inspections and final part checks using precision measuring tools, accurately document all production and quality data, and adhere to production schedules and safety protocols. Communicate job status and quality concerns with team members while applying basic math skills for measurements and offsets.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate Vertical Machining Centers or Turning Centers
- Ability to perform quality inspections using a variety of measuring equipment including calipers, micrometer, and tape measure
- Ability to read, understand, and edit G & M code
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to independently complete multiple setups each shift
- Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- 40 hours per week
- 10 hour shift
