Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers, lathes, and other equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs to maintain required dimensions and tolerances. Adjust machine settings and tooling to optimize production, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments. Work closely with engineering and quality teams to maintain production standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This temp-to-hire position in Southeast Houston offers a rate of $22.00–$23.00/hour with a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule. Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of CNC machining experience operating vertical machining centers, CNC lathes, or similar equipment
- proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers
- experience with CNC machine setup
- experience with tooling adjustments
- experience inspecting finished components to tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail

- the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of CNC programming concepts and G-code
