Job Summary
Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to produce accurate, high-quality parts on time. Program and set up machines to produce first-article and production parts. Inspect parts throughout production runs and fine-tune processes to maintain consistent quality. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, machines, and materials for each job. Machine parts to specification using lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment. Monitor feeds, speeds, and machine performance during machining operations. Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve problems to maintain production standards. Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines and tooling to maximize uptime. Use precision measuring instruments correctly and maintain production and run-time standards. Demonstrate strong self-management, problem-solving, continuous learning, and results-driven work habits in a manufacturing environment.
