Job Summary
CNC machinist responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machining equipment, performing setup with tooling and fixturing, verifying programs, and inspecting parts to ensure quality. Tasks include managing tools and devices, optimizing machine processes for productivity, creating/editing/retrieving CNC programs, conducting routine machine maintenance, and participating in continuous improvement efforts. Requires 3+ years of CNC experience, knowledge of G&M code, blueprint reading, basic math, metric-imperial conversion, ability to lift 50lbs, owning tools, and experience with sheet metal and light plate.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years operating CNC machining equipment
- Knowledge of G&M code programming language
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to perform basic math (fractions, decimals)
- Ability to convert metric to imperial
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have own tools
- Experience with sheet metal and light plate
