Job Summary
Operates and programs CNC mills and lathes, sets up three-/four-jaw chucks and tooling, and loads stock for machining. Reads work orders, blueprints, and GD&T to plan machining and verify part locations. Calculates requirements, sets offsets, and creates/adjusts part programs; proves programs with first-run parts and measurements. Maintains safety and quality by adhering to procedures, performing preventive maintenance, documenting actions across shifts, and troubleshooting malfunctions. Seeks opportunities to improve processes, expand knowledge through educational opportunities, and ensure accurate measurement and compliance with specifications throughout production.
