Job Summary
Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate production. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to electrical discharge machining, tooling, or machine operation. Operate Fusion 360 and Hass and Hardinge Mills. Monday-Friday 6am-2pm, $18-25/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with Mills and Lathe
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes
- Ability to pass a background check and Drug screening
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines
- Operating Fusion 360 and Hass and Hardinge Mills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks or CAD software for part design or modification
