Job Summary
Small Parts CNC Machinist responsible for setup and operation of Mazak M4 CNC Lathe, Haas VF-4 CNC Mill, Mazak Intergrex 30 CNC Lathe, and Haas VF-6 CNC Mill in a production environment. Duties include following safety policies, operating machinery to complete production sequences, setting up machines to manufacture Small Parts family parts, inspecting parts at each sequence to ensure quality, maintaining part identification, replacing broken tools, keeping machines running to meet production schedules, recording time and production in Global Shop, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Requires English proficiency, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, teamwork, independent work capability, basic math, print reading/interpreting, and competency with CNC setup and operation, plus familiarity with Global Shop software and Microsoft Office. Shift: nights, Monday–Thursday, 4pm–2am with some overtime. Must hold 3-5+ years CNC experience, high school diploma or equivalent, programming/editing experience preferred, and US citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years CNC experience in a production environment
- CNC set-up experience
- CNC program editing required, programming experience a plus
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be drug and alcohol free
- English reading/writing/speaking ability
- Ability to read and interpret print/readings
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations
- Ability to inspect parts with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to set up and run one or more CNC machines
- Shift hours: nights, 4pm-2am, Mon-Thu with some overtime
