Job Summary
Operate CNC machines to load raw castings, recognize tool wear, and produce quality machined components meeting close tolerances. Remove parts, deburr them, and check critical dimensions using inspection equipment like micrometers and calipers. Make work offsets, change dull tooling, and record time and materials accurately. Identify quality problems by consulting supervisors and resolving production issues. Maintain a safe work area and communicate effectively with management and QC personnel. Prioritize focus during the 2:00pm–12:30am shift, Monday through Thursday, with a $2.60/hr premium.
Required Qualifications
- Prior CNC machining
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Technical or Trade school for CNC machining
- Ability to understand industrial drawings
- Ability to understand mechanical systems

- Pass a general machinist knowledge test
- Pass a measurement test

Desired Qualifications
- Technical or Trade school for CNC machining preferred but not required
