Job Summary
Set up and operate basic CNC functions to cut, punch, form, drill, mill, and stamp metal parts per design specifications. Perform repetitive tasks including loading/unloading components, attaching parts, and using hand tools. Conduct routine quality inspections with basic measurement tools, identify defective parts, and maintain accurate production records. Perform basic equipment checks to ensure operational readiness and adhere to safety protocols while utilizing PPE. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address challenges and improve processes. Maintain a clean workspace and properly store tools. Work Monday through Friday with potential overtime and cross-train as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Familiarity with machining techniques, tools, and equipment
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to use machining equipment, hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and testing equipment effectively
- Ability to produce parts and products to meet quality standards
- Ability to be flexible in role, adjusting to new processes, technologies, or production requirements
- Ability to handle parts and tools with precision
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
- Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes
- Ability to cross-train and work overtime as needed
- Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for overtime during the week
- Must be available for Saturday shifts when needed
