CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup and operation of CNC and/or manual machines, specifically balancing, ensuring compliance with engineering and customer standards. The role requires maintenance of accurate documentation and participation in establishing manufacturing methods. Responsibilities include inspections to ensure parts meet specifications, recommending tool adjustments, routine machine maintenance, and maintaining organized work areas. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, two years of machining experience, and ability to interpret blueprints. Physical capabilities including lifting, pushing, and grip strength are required, along with U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
- Ability to read, understand and correctly interpret blueprints
- Demonstrated working knowledge of machining and/or testing related mathematical concepts
- Basic knowledge of inspection requirements and techniques
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship
