CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Operate and set-up CNC machines including EDM RAM, EDM Wire, Lathe, Mill, and Swiss models while following setup sheets, drawings, and programs. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gages to document results on in-process inspection plans. Continuously monitor equipment and tooling, notifying the department manager immediately of any breakdowns or process disruptions. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to Seabrook Quality System procedures and safety requirements. Assist with training new team members and operators. This 2nd shift role includes a 15% shift differential and requires proficiency in reading blueprints and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years related experience
- Proficient with one or more of the following CNC machines: EDM RAM, EDM Wire, Lathe, Mill, Mill-Turn, Swiss
- Experienced in use of caliper, micrometer, OC and height gage for dimensional inspection
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability
- Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Light to moderate physical exertion required
- Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50
- Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
Desired Qualifications
