Job Summary
Set up mills and/or lathes for new production runs; operate mills and/or lathes to produce finished parts; inspect parts for conformance to blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to verify specifications. High school diploma required with preferred programming experience; candidate should have strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions and perform quality checks using measurement tools. Shift schedule includes a 4pm–2:30am second shift with 4-10 hours, and benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO, sick leave, and paid plant shutdown between Christmas and New Year.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to set up mills and/or lathes for new production runs
- Ability to operate mills and/or lathes to produce finished parts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Ability to regularly lift 30-50 pounds
- Programming experience preferred
